Terry Nolan’s Farewell

On behalf of my mother Daph and the rest of our family, it is with much sadness that on Wednesday morning at 8.50 am, with the family present, we said our final farewell to Terry, who finally lost his long ongoing battle with cancer.

Whilst we as a family are slowing coming to grips with the enormity of the situation, we take time to thank the many people, too many to mention here that have called, emailed sent text messages and of course sent flowers, we sincerely appreciate this.

To all of the staff who work for Nolan’s Transport, every time you put your uniform, drive our trucks or talk to our customers remember our father and the legacy that he has created, we thank you for your continued support.

The contribution that Terry has made to the road transport industry and his own family is beyond words.

Terry’s service is to be held in Gatton at the St Mary’s Catholic Church on Wednesday 16th April 2014 @ 11.00am.

At the conclusion of the service you are invited to the Gatton Cemetery and the finally refreshments and drinks at the Gatton Cultural Centre.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers to support the “Icon Cancer Foundation”

Initially, people could call the Icon Cancer Foundation on 07 3737 4553 or 0409 127 955 and I can take a credit card donation over the phone. The Icon Cancer foundation team will make staff available anytime including weekends.

The second option for donation, they can donate online via our old Everyday Hero donation portal. Please note this is a portal is named with our old name “HOCA Research Centre”. So people need to know they have gone to the correct page when they see HOCA. This is the link to it. https://secure4.everydayhero.com.au/charities/2679/donate

Also attached is a donation form that can be used as well.
